Description: Learn the basics of laser cutting - a versatile advanced manufacturing technique used in both prototyping and final development phases - and then put that knowledge to work! This introductory level workshop will teach students the basics of laser cutters and designing in Adobe Illustrator. The workshop will includes a showcase of finished laser-cut projects and a demonstration of how to operate the OEDK’s Epilog laser cutter. During the hands-on portion of the workshop, students will create and laser cut their own designs to take home.
