Intro to Arduino

Description:Learn the basics of programming an Arduino - a popular open-source electronics prototyping platform. In this Intro-level Fabrication Workshop, attendees will be taught how to use an Arduino to gather data from the environment and send output controls to simple devices. Then put your skills to the test by practicing on provided Arduino boards!

Preparation and Resources: Students should download and install the Arduino interface onto their laptop prior to the workshop, and bring their laptop with the installed software. Instructions to do this can be found at http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software under the Arduino 1.0.6 section.

Students with Macs should also download the 2.2.18 VCP driver from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
