Project Title
Creating a Cast Fishing Rod for People with Limited Upper Body Dexterity
Design Challenge
The goal of this design team is to create a mechanical cast fishing device to be used at Camp For All, a summer camp for physically disabled individuals. This device should allow people with limited strength and mobility in their arms and hands to be able to fish independently. The final product does not have to emulate the design of an ordinary cast fishing rod. Rather, its purpose is to provide its users with a high degree of autonomy so they may fully participate in the camp's activities.
