Tennis Racket Wheelchair Mount
Design Challenge
Gary Lynn is a wheelchair-bound individual who plays adaptive tennis. He lacks the dexterity and strength to hold a tennis racket, so Gary currently plays with his racket duct taped to his wheelchair. Our team is designing a detachable mount to both stabilize and swing his racket forward when Gary presses a button. The mount will also be adjustable for different angles and rackets. This will allow Gary to return serves and volleys from across the net.
